Job Opportunity – Hematology/Oncology Physician – Virginia

Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing

Location: Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends. No call.

Highlights:

• Combined inpatient and outpatient practice setting at a Level III trauma facility
• Case mix: 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology; no Internal Medicine
• Outpatient clinic volume: 12–25 patients per day; Hospital rounding: 2–8 patients per day
• Epic EMR system in use
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Full travel expenses covered

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Medical Oncology (required)
• Board Certification in Hematology (highly preferred)
• Active Virginia medical license (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M per Virginia statute limitations (if requested by facility)
