If you’re someone who notices the little things and strives to make a lasting impact, you’ll thrive here.Please visit to learn more about our existing hotels, other exciting job opportunities and our company.POSITION PROFILEProcess soiled linen and distribute clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIESReceive, sort and weigh soiled linen; place into appropriate containers.Process sorted linen utilizing the washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders ensuring finished- product is inspected and meets quality standards.Turn in all articles found in Laundry Chute/Department to the Supervisor to log in Lost and Found.Fulfill guest requests and handle guest problems/complaints as they may arise to achieve guest satisfaction.Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment, or mechanical problems to the Supervisor.Notify supervisor of supplies needed, damaged linens or hazards to the department to ensure laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency level.Maintain assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by managementREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESSome High school diploma or equivalent experienceNo formal experience required for the positionAbility to recognize and work with numbers.Operate industrial laundry equipment.Communicate information, respond to question, and provide directions and hotel services to guests, vendors, staff member and management.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Continuous Standing as neededLift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outletsBENEFITS PACKAGECompetitive SalaryDaily Pay!Team Member Hotel Discount ProgramUniforms Provided for most positionsBenefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental optionsPaid PTO401k with employer matchTeam Member Awards and Recognition programs throughout the yearFood and Beverage DiscountsTuition ReimbursementIf you think you bring the ideal blend of skills, attitude and teamwork, sprinkled with a love for space and Huntsville, this could be the perfect home for you!
