About the Position

Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Respiratory Care Practitioners License required Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, RPSGT or RRT with SDS required Must-Have: - Respiratory Care Practitioners License - Required skills and experience Description: MUST have a Respiratory Care Practitioners License. Candidates should have experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring. Knowledge of Adult and Pediatric Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) is essential. Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic. Ability to perform Baseline Sleep Polysomnography and PSG scoring is necessary. Candidates should be proficient in BiPAP and CPAP management. Familiarity with cardiac abnormalities and complex sleep apnea is required. Experience in patient education and infection control is important. Must be able to demonstrate skills in various sleep disorders and treatments. Expected patient ratios are 1:2 for adults and 1:1 for pediatrics. Travelers may float between facilities and should be flexible with scheduling. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays during the contract term. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years.
