THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOININGJoin a growing IT organization that is actively expanding its Project Management Office to support a significant pipeline of strategic technology initiatives.Work alongside an established team of IT Project Managers while helping the organization continue to mature its project management methodology, governance, and delivery capabilities.Partner directly with IT leadership, technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders across multiple areas of the organization.These hires are being made because of growth and increased investment in technology, creating an opportunity to join a PMO that has more transformational work underway than its current team has the capacity to support.Three openings are for IT Project Managers supporting a variety of enterprise software initiatives, with an additional Senior IT Project Manager focused heavily on a large-scale Oracle SCM transformation.LOCATIONFort Mill, SC - On-SiteContract-to-hire opportunity with an anticipated conversion to full-time employment after approximately six months.WHAT THEY OFFER YOUOpportunity to join an organization making significant investments across its technology environment and expanding the PMO to support continued growth.Exposure to enterprise-wide software implementations impacting Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Fleet, and other critical business functions.True project ownership rather than serving as one small piece of a heavily segmented project organization.Visibility and interaction with senior business leadership, including executives who will participate directly in requirements, design, and project decision-making.Ability to help establish stronger project management disciplines around requirements, SDLC, Jira, testing, UAT, governance, and project execution.Opportunity to build long-term career equity with a growing PMO where leadership is intentionally looking for people who can develop into greater levels of responsibility.Senior IT Project Manager will play an important role in an Oracle SCM implementation spanning multiple business units and impacting inventory, procurement, warehouse movement, and connected enterprise systems.WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANTThe organization has a significant backlog of technology initiatives and is expanding its PMO to create the project leadership capacity required to successfully execute against that roadmap.You will own complex software projects from initial requirements and planning through design, testing, implementation, and final delivery.Project Managers will be expected to bring structure to environments where every requirement or process may not already be clearly defined.You will help business and technology stakeholders translate ambiguous needs into actionable requirements, deliverables, timelines, and project plans.This is not simply a status-reporting PM role. You will be expected to challenge stakeholders, establish accountability, identify risks, escalate when necessary, and actively drive projects forward.Projects may include major Finance and HR technology initiatives, enterprise application implementations, and replacement of critical operational systems.For the Senior IT Project Manager, the primary focus will be a significant Oracle SCM implementation across eight business units, including inventory, procurement, product movement between warehouses, and integrations with other enterprise platforms.THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS5+ years of IT Project Management experience with a track record of leading complex software implementations from beginning to end.Experience working within or reporting directly into an IT organization rather than functioning primarily as a business-side change or implementation manager.Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous business needs and create structure through requirements gathering, BRDs, project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and clearly defined deliverables.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including systems integration testing, UAT, project governance, and formal sign-off processes.Experience coordinating technical analysts, developers, infrastructure, security, vendors, and business stakeholders across competing priorities.Strong Jira experience with the ability to use the platform effectively for project tracking, workflow management, governance, and reporting.Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are continuing to mature and Project Managers are expected to take initiative rather than wait for every detail to be defined.Executive-level communication skills with the confidence to facilitate discussions, manage competing priorities, navigate organizational dynamics, and escalate issues when appropriate.Prior experience within a small to midsized or similarly entrepreneurial organization is highly valued.Reference: 69966
