Responsibilities Support the annual budgeting process, including development and maintenance of financial models, cost center budgets, capital expenditure planning, and variance analysis. Assist with monthly forecasting and re‑forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial projections and reporting. Analyze financial results and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities to Finance leadership. Prepare merchandising performance analyses and comparative reporting to support business decision‑making. Evaluate marketing program effectiveness through post‑campaign and seasonal performance analyses. Partner with department leaders to provide financial planning support, operational analysis, and capital investment recommendations. Support treasury management activities, including cash forecasting, cash management, borrowing, investments, and compliance monitoring. Deliver timely and accurate sales reporting and performance analyses for operational and executive leadership. Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams during the monthly close process to investigate variances and recommend corrective actions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and enhancements to financial reporting and analytical processes. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required. Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus. Experience 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate finance, corporate accounting, public accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related financial discipline. Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, or business analysis activities preferred. Exposure to financial reporting, variance analysis, treasury operations, or performance analytics preferred. Knowledge, Skills + Abilities Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts. Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP, financial planning, or enterprise software systems preferred. Familiarity with treasury management systems, cash forecasting tools, or financial reporting platforms is a plus.
