Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate and monitor patients' respiratory status, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques.
  
  
• 
  Administer respiratory therapies, including ventilator management and ABG analysis.
  
  
• 
  Document patient treatments and progress accurately within the designated electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all certification and licensing requirements, including state licensure and required accreditations.
  
  
• 
  Provide coverage for weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled to meet unit coverage needs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current Vermont state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility to sit for the NBRC written exam.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU or critical care respiratory experience.
  
  
• 
  Valid AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; PALS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
  
  
• 
  Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with a varied patient demographic (ages 0-100+).
