Job Description Electronic Inspection & Assembly Technician – 042 Part Component Manufacturing The Electronic Inspection & Assembly Technician is responsible for inspecting, assembling, testing, and packaging electronic components and subassemblies used in manufacturing operations. This position ensures products meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Perform visual and mechanical inspection of electronic components, circuit boards, connectors, and assemblies.

Assemble electronic parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

Verify component identification, orientation, and placement before assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments as required. Conduct quality checks using measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and multimeters.

Identify and report defective materials, components, or workmanship issues. Complete required production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately.

Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures and maintain compliance with safety standards. miniature surface-mount components, including 0402 package components. The technician ensures all products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements 0402 Component Knowledge Requirement The technician must be able to identify, inspect, and handle 0402 surface-mount technology (SMT) components, which measure: 0402=0.04 in×0.02 in ̃1.0 mm×0.5 mm
