Security - Leader Bank Pavilion

About the Role Leader Bank Pavilion’s Security plays a key role in venue safety and guest services during our concert and commencement season. We are hiring for the May 2026 – October 2026 season. Security screens guests, monitors venue access, and ensures a fun and safe concert environment by upholding venue policies. Security will maintain metal detector equipment and other required gear. Event shifts are typically in the evening; evening availability is required. The starting rate is $20/hour. What This Role Will Do Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including business partners and artists, in a professional manner. Circulate among guests and employees to preserve safety, order, and protect venue property. Adapt to the security needs of diverse artists, schedules, and tour sizes. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and others to guard against theft and maintain security. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Patrol premises to detect intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Maintain a fun, friendly, and safe environment; uphold venue policies and raise concerns to management promptly. Operate metal detectors and hand wands to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles. Greet guests, answer questions, and assist navigation of the venue. Memorize and implement training methods and standard operating procedures quickly. Warn of conduct infractions, apprehend or evict violators professionally and courteously. Help with post‑concert venue cleanup (Post‑Show Pick) for non‑union staff working to the end of a concert. Other duties as assigned. What This Person Will Bring Age 18 or older. Successful completion of background checks (and motor vehicle checks where required). Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy. Strong teamwork and program execution skills. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and work on feet for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs. with proper technique. Availability for nights, weekends, holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) in all weather. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in security/law enforcement; Guard card a plus. Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures. Professional appearance and judgment within policies. Strong verbal and written communication. Team player who collaborates and builds relationships with internal and external partners.
