Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our critical care team. The RN will support the critical care service line in both ICU and stepdown settings. Floating within the critical care service line is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of critical care protocols and procedures. This role involves working with critically ill patients and advanced medical equipment. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and the ability to respond to emergencies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team are essential. Minimum 3 years preferred experience supporting critical care services. Ability to work with ventilators, endotracheal tubes, and tracheostomy. Experience with immediate post-surgical care, trauma, neurosurgery, and neuro intervention. Knowledge of post-cardiac catheterization, DKA management, cardiac drips, and sedation titration. Proficient in handling arterial lines, Swan Ganz catheter, and transvenous pacing wire. Ability to care for post-structural heart patients and conduct telemetry and lab interpretation. Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
