Key Responsibilities:
● Meat Cutting & Preparation: Cut, trim, grind, and package fresh beef, lamb, poultry, and
custom orders to customer specifications.
● Case Management: Keep meat cases clean, fully stocked, faced, and properly rotated
throughout the shift.
● Customer Service: Assist neighborhood shoppers with custom cut requests, meal
recommendations, and cooking tips.
● Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and Halal
handling/segregation guidelines.
● Equipment Care: Safely operate and clean band saws, grinders, slicers, and cutting
tools.
Qualifications:
● 1+ years of hands-on butcher or meat-cutting experience in a supermarket, butcher shop,
or meat market.
● Practical knowledge of commercial saws, grinders, and knife safety.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
● Flexibility to work scheduled shifts (mornings, evenings, or weekends).
● Food Handler Certification is a plus.
● Experience with Halal protocols or international cuts is highly preferred, but not required!
