Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) – Endo/GI Lab Location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Hours: PRN – As Needed (10:00 AM – 7:30 PM, flexible); variable shifts; weekend, holiday, and on‑call requirements. Department Highlights The opportunity to work with a diverse patient population Potential for high job satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment from making a difference in patient’s lives Work/Life balance as well as opportunities for educational and professional growth opportunities Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required 1 year of GI clinical experience required 1 year of previous ERCP experience preferred BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast‑paced environment Responsibilities Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurses Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk Documents accurately and appropriately Assists in admission/transfer/discharge In collaboration/consultation with nurses, adapts care to reflect age‑specific and developmental considerations In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, incorporates cultural/ religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care Benefits Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits.
