Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Avera Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Credentials: - Basic Medication Assessment Exam required.

Special Requests: - Prior permanent Avera or Sanford employees are not eligible.

Unit Details: - May be asked to work with pediatric patients if the traveler has prior pediatric experience.

Shift & Scheduling: - True rotating day/evening/night 12-hour shifts. - Every other weekend and holiday. - No call.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
