We are seeking an outstanding Emergency Medicine physician to join our team serving Iron River, Michigan . Located in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula, this opportunity offers the chance to practice community-focused Emergency Medicine while enjoying a lifestyle centered around outdoor recreation, small-town living, and a strong sense of community. Physicians can choose to live locally and enjoy year-round access to fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and countless lakes and forests, or easily commute from nearby communities throughout Michigan and Wisconsin or elsewhere in the US.

Opportunity Highlights

• Hospital located in the stunningly beautiful Iron River, MI

• Approximately 7,000 annual ED visits

• Hybrid staffing model:

  • Physician in-house 8:00 AM-8:00 PM

  • On-call 8:00 PM-8:00 AM

• Most physicians work 3-4 consecutive days in a row

• Full-time and part-time opportunities open

Schedule & Compensation

• $3,960 per 24-hour (12-hr day shift, 12 hours on call overnight)

• Equivalent to $15,840 for a four-day run

• Sign-on bonus available for full-time employment

• Eligible for annual year-end bonus

• Full-time is seven days per month

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Eligible to practice medicine in Michigan
