Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Must-Have: Must be registered
Description:
The laboratory performs diagnostic sleep testing, including all PAP therapy titration.
Responsibilities include checking in patients, setting up rooms, patient hookup, charting, and cleaning equipment.
The equipment utilized includes computerized charting, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, and ResMed S9 Devices.
Clinicians must have training as a Sleep Tech with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
Specific licensures required are RPSGT and BLS certification.
Shifts are nights only, scheduled from Sunday to Thursday.
The employee will not work alone, and call is not required.
There is a 10 Bed Sleep Lab available, with two beds designated for Pediatric testing.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1 for adults, and 1:1 for patients younger than 3 years old.
Limited scoring occurs during data collection.
A modified EMR training program is provided to support clinicians in their roles.
