Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Denton, TX | Acute Care – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed state-of-the-art Emergency Department serving a high-acuity patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Meditech electronic health records system
• Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• HCA facility experience required
• Meditech experience required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with Magnet-designated facility standards and practices
• Experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
