Echocardiograph Tech III

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiograph Technician to perform complex congenital heart echocardiograms and fetal echocardiograms in a specialized cardiology environment. This role is responsible for obtaining high-quality diagnostic images, analyzing data, collaborating with physicians, and providing compassionate patient care and education. Responsibilities Independently perform congenital heart echocardiograms and fetal echocardiograms. Analyze imaging data and provide preliminary findings to physicians. Collaborate with cardiologists regarding exam results and patient care. Verify patient information and perform studies based on physician orders and medical history. Educate and reassure patients and families throughout the examination process. Assist with specialized cardiac procedures as needed. Maintain echocardiography equipment and ensure imaging areas remain clean and organized. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education activities. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with departmental and hospital standards. Travel to additional cardiology locations as needed. Qualifications Required Associate degree in Allied Health, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related field; OR completion of a diagnostic ultrasound program; OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Active American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. Eligible for RDCS or RCS certification through ARDMS or CCI. Minimum 7 years of cardiac ultrasound experience. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Preferred ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credential.
