Soldering/Final Assembler

The Final Assembly Associate is responsible for performing hand soldering and mechanical assembly of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to IPC-A-610 Class 2 and/or 3 standards. Operating in a high-reliability production environment, this role involves assembling surface-mount and through-hole components using assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials. Additionally, associates are expected to self-inspect all completed work to catch defects early and meet establish quality targets. Candidates with current IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certifications and experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing are preferred.

Responsibilities

The candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, alongside at least two years of electronics manufacturing and hand soldering experience. strong manual dexterity, proficiency with soldering tools, and the ability to strictly follow ESD compliance and safety standards are essential. Additionally, associates are expected to self-inspect all completed work to catch defects early and meet establish quality targets. Candidates with current IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certifications and experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing are preferred.
