Pay Rate: $21.00/hour W2

Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM

Overtime: Available before the start of shift based on business needs

Employment Type: 90-Day Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

HKA Enterprises is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates with Reach Truck and Cherry Picker experience for a long-term career opportunity in Minooka, IL . This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position designed for candidates who are looking for a permanent opportunity .

We are not seeking temporary employees . The goal of this position is to transition successful associates into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, safety, and business needs. Candidates who demonstrate strong warehouse skills, reliability, and a commitment to quality will have the opportunity to build a long-term career.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience operating Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and safe material handling practices.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers to support warehouse operations.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Move, organize, and store materials throughout the distribution center.
• Perform put-away, replenishment, and inventory movement activities.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including SAP, to complete inventory and order fulfillment tasks.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity standards while meeting daily operational goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy activities.
• Support additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Reach Truck and Cherry Picker operating experience required .
• Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working in OEM, automotive, or high-volume distribution environments is a plus.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including SAP, preferred.
• Strong picking and material handling experience required.
• Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Must have a dependable work history with strong attendance and reliability.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, twist, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday.
• Safely climb and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Work in a fast-paced distribution environment with varying temperatures and elevated noise levels.

• Average Weekly Hours: 35-38+ hours per week
• Pay Rate: $21.00/hour W2
