ResponsibilitiesHelp launch and shape a new insurance agency presence in Grand Isle.
Develop client relationships through personal outreach, referrals, and community connections.
Guide clients through insurance options with clear, honest, and practical advice.
Identify coverage needs and recommend policies that fit each clients situation.
Build a steady pipeline of new business while maintaining strong service for existing clients.
Collaborate on agency growth plans, local market strategy, and long-term business goals.
Support licensing, carrier relationships, and day-to-day agency operations as needed.
Represent The Atlantic District with professionalism, warmth, and consistency.
RequirementsProperty & Casualty insurance licensing or the ability to obtain required licensing.
Proven experience in insurance sales, agency development, or account management.
Strong client relationship skills with a consultative sales approach.
Ability to build, organize, and grow a book of business from the ground up.
Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
Comfort with prospecting, networking, and developing referral sources locally.
Working knowledge of CRM systems, quoting tools, and common office software.
Ability to work on-site in Grand Isle, Vermont.
Preferred background in independent insurance agency operations or partnership ownership.
