Maintenance Technician III Electrical page is loaded## Maintenance Technician III Electricallocations: Norwich, NYtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R0000013969# **Position Overview**Under minimal direction, provides operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of secondary components of the electrical distribution and all fixed and non-fixed, non-patient care electrical equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner in response to or in support of customer needs. This position also supports all areas of the Hospital maintenance and preventative maintenance programs. The Maintenance Technician - Electrical also performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties for the hospital’s Plant Operations and Facilities Services Department and is assigned to work for the Supervisor of Facilities Services. In addition, the Maintenance Technician - Electrical may be called upon to lead a group of workers on a project, teach maintenance skills to other members of the department, review work of outside vendors to report on discrepancies, as assigned.**Primary Department, Division, or Unit:**Facilities Maintenance, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital**Primary Work Shift:**Day**Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours:**40**Compensation Range:**$25.12 - $35.87 per hour, depending on experience-----**Education/Experience**Minimum Required:* High School Diploma or equivalent.* 4 – 6 years’ experience in operational level maintenance and engineering and/or demonstrated experience as a Tech II or equivalent.Preferred:* Graduation from Trade School.* 6 years’ experience in operational level maintenance and engineering with 4 years’ being hospital experience.**License/Certification**Minimum Required:* Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.Preferred:* Electrician Journeyman LicenseIn lieu of the above minimum requirements, an equivalent combination of experience and certification that fall within the limits of minimum requirements and preferred will be considered.-----# **Why You’ll Love Working at UHS**At United Health Services (UHS), we believe every connection—to patients, to purpose, to each other—makes a difference.
