Location: Avera St Luke's Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $33.50 - $48.50 per hour (actual pay dependent upon experience). Position Highlights Sign-on bonus of $15,000 or $20,000 depending on experience. Potential relocation bonus. Student Loan Repayment Program: up to $10,000, $167 monthly. Varied shift schedule: 6:00 am‑6:30 pm, 6:00 pm‑6:30 am, third weekend/holiday, occasional call; 72 hrs/2 weeks. Responsibilities Provide nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing objectives, and defining interventions. Review physician prescriptions and communicate care plans to the health‑care team. Coordinate with other healthcare providers and support patients, families, and friends physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. Obtain medical histories, examine patients, document conditions, and conferring with family and friends to develop nursing diagnoses. Teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Evaluate care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, and re‑evaluating objectives. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to infection‑control policies, medication protocols, and regulatory requirements. Document patient care services in patient and department records. Maintain and troubleshoot nursing equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and preventive maintenance. Maintain competence in nursing capabilities as outlined by leadership. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state of practice license. One to three years of experience working in a clinical environment. Must be able to work specified hours and respond to duties with adequate visual acuity and communication skills.
