Iron Mechanical is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our Buffalo Mechanical team in Ripon. Buffalo Mechanical is a commercial HVAC subcontractor serving Northern and Central California, specializing in malls, retail centers, warehouses, and office projects. We are looking for a skilled technician with strong commercial HVAC experience.
Job Description:
- Full Time, Year-Round, Fast Paced
- Daily Dispatch
- Run/Terminate Low Voltage Controls
- Troubleshoot Equipment and Report on Findings
- Perform General and Preventative Maintenance
- Basic Equipment Repairs (i.e. Change out Compressors, Capacitors, Belts, Contactors, Motors, Coils, etc.)
- Install/Program/Test Thermostats, Sensors, Smoke Detectors, and Test Stations
- Start Up and Test Equipment Operations
- Work with Package Units, VAVs, Water Source Heat Pumps, Split Systems, VRF/VRV Systems
- PPE Required on-site
- Fill Out and Turn in Service Orders Daily
Qualifications:
- EPA Certified
- 3 Years of Commercial Field Experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean Driving Record
- Must Have Basic Tools
- Ability to Lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to Solder/Braze, Read Gauges, use Vacuum Pump
- Refrigeration Experience is a plus but not required
