Job Description:Performs a variety of food and guest service duties under general supervision. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food and customer service.Café Stations to train:Barista Station: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.Salad/Deli Station: Create fresh and delicious salads and deli items, ensuring high-quality presentation.Pizza and Pasta Station: Craft mouth-watering pizzas and pasta dishes, maintaining consistency and taste.Grill Station: Cook and serve grilled items to perfection, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.Entrée Serving: Plate and serve main courses with attention to detail and customer preferences.Action Station: Engage with customers while preparing made-to-order dishes, showcasing your culinary skills.Cashiering: Handle transactions efficiently and accurately, providing excellent customer service.Position DetailsPRN, on call or as neededPay Rate: Based on Experience ($17.68 - $22.99)Availability needed: Sunday-Saturday 4am-2:30am for 8 hour shifts & 10 hour shiftsShift Needing Coverage Most Often: Sunday & Monday 4pm-2:30amDynamic team with opportunities to cross train and support other kitchen areas for more exciting shifts!Benefits Eligible: NoEssential FunctionsDelivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (following standard recipe, assembling ingredients) for example, prepares salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit.Follows standardized practices relating to Nutrition Services (e.g. dining experience, meal delivery, maintaining required stock levels)Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, and equipment (oven, fryer, hoods).Performs accurate cash/credit transactions according to system standards and independently resolves basic customer service issues.SkillsActive ListeningCoordinating tasks with othersGuest focusedCommunicates clearlyAttention to detailMinimum QualificationsFood Handler's Permit (required)One year of cashier, food service or patient experience (preferred)Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred)Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred)Physical Requirements:Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
