Accounts Receivable Clerk

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour

Description

You Are:

An experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk, ideally experienced in the Construction/Trades space. Good with people and comfortable collaborating with both internal teams and clients.

You Have:

A detail-oriented approach to your work, a steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, and Hiqh EQ.

Your Location:

In-Person for first 3 months, with potential for 1-2 days remote/week therafter

Your Schedule:

Full Time (40hrs/Wk)
Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Your Manager:

Controller

Your Contribution to Definitive Electronics:

Prepare and manage milestone/progress billing and AIA pay applications (G702/G703) for AV projects
Own the AR process - post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on outstanding invoices
Prepare lien waivers, NTOs, and compliance documentation
Resolve billing discrepancies and client payment inquiries
Generate AR reports and support month-end/year-end close, plus general admin support to ownership

Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience:

+2yrs accounts receivable or construction billing
Hands-on AIA billing experience (preparing, submitting, and following up on payment applications)
Familiarity with milestone billing and understanding of schedules of values
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
