Global Mental Health Program - Clinical Trainee (Therapist Pursuing Licensure)

Position Overview This is an independent contractor position—not a salaried or benefits-eligible role. Position Responsibilities Provide psychotherapy to adults (18+) through telehealth and/or in-person sessions at our St. Paul office. Conduct diagnostic assessments as needed. Attend clinical supervision and monthly professional meetings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system. Supervision Free clinical supervision is provided toward the following licensures: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Supervision is provided by Pathways’ qualified, culturally responsive supervisors. Independent Contractor status: paid time off and health insurance are not provided. Flexibility: Create your own schedule; work remote, in person, or hybrid. Commitment: Minimum one-year contract. Caseload: 20+ sessions per week (with option to expand). Compensation: Flat-rate reimbursement per service, plus travel reimbursement (if applicable). Education & Experience Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work. Skills & Attributes Cultural humility and respect for all people.
