Cook - Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

The Californian is seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook - Dietary Aide to join our team in Pasadena, California. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality food services to our residents, patients, and guests. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
Assist with meal planning, ordering, and inventory management
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Interact with residents, patients, and guests to ensure their dietary needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable
Collaborate with other culinary staff members to ensure seamless meal service
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services

Requirements:

Experience in a food service or healthcare setting (training provided)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
