We're hiring skilled MIG welders to work on custom steel tank fabrication projects using high-quality materials and detailed blueprints. If you take pride in precision welding and want your own dedicated workspacethis is the job for you.

What You'll Do

Perform MIG welding on Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum
Work on custom fabrication projects (not repetitive production work)
Weld 7-gauge and 10-gauge materials for tank builds
Read and interpret blueprints to complete welds to spec
Work independently at your own assigned welding station
Ensure quality, consistency, and clean finishes on all welds

What You Bring

Strong MIG welding experience
Ability to read and work from blueprints
Solid experience in steel welding and fitting
Pride in producing clean, accurate welds
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Highly Preferred (But Not Required)

AWS Certifications (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6)
ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUNTLEY, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
