Schedule: Full time shift; Day‑Weekend (United States of America). Shift details: Requires full availability for three 12‑hour shifts weekdays 7:30am‑8:00pm. Later this year, weekend shifts will be added (Sat/Sun, 8:00am‑5:00pm). Sign‑on Bonus: Up to $2,000 for eligible applicants. Job Description This role involves travelling as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations. The successful candidate will maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. The position requires maintaining education requirements through annual clinical competencies and written tests, ensuring efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system. The role also requires compliance with OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance processes, maintaining confidentiality of employees’ and patients’ medical information, supporting staff teamwork, performing clinical intake, assisting with minor procedures, educating patients, monitoring inventory, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations. Stay up to date and familiar with all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Maintain education requirements for the position and demonstrate competency through annual clinical competencies and written tests. Ensure efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the practice’s designated system. Maintain OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance, following safety processes and policies. Provide whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps. Maintain confidentiality of employees’ and patients’ administrative and medical information. Support staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and co‑workers when necessary. Perform clinical intake according to policy and procedures, including screenings, history taking, vital signs, and medication reconciliation. Assist with minor procedures associated with specialty and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service or results. Educate patients regarding tests, medications, and diet, providing clear and accurate instructions. Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and functioning medical equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology. Knowledge of chronic disease management. Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources. Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems. Ability to function and assist others in stressful, fast‑paced environments and effectively apply stress management techniques. Ability to resolve issues and work independently within the scope of their certification. Ability to exercise sound judgement, diplomacy and a professional demeanor. Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively to carry out job requirements. Experience with computers. Education High School Graduate or Equivalent. Work Experience 1+ year of related work experience (Preferred). Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS). American Association Medical Assistants (CMA). Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC). Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA). Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA).
