Restaurant Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant supports the financial operations of a multi-unit restaurant organization. This role assists with month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR functions, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Review daily sales and POS reports; investigate variances Support inventory, food, and labor cost analysis Process vendor invoices and maintain accurate AP records Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls Qualifications 1–3 years of accounting experience (restaurant or multi-unit preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong Excel skills and accounting software proficiency Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Self Opportunity, Inc.
