About the Role: As a technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of Ford vehicles serviced at our dealership. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of automotive systems with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with service advisors and other team members to deliver timely and high-quality service, contributing to the dealership's reputation for excellence. This role requires a commitment to continuous learning to stay current with evolving automotive technologies and Ford-specific systems. Ultimately, your work will help maintain the trust and loyalty of our customers by keeping their vehicles operating at peak performance. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent technical certification. Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Ford vehicles. Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures. Valid driver's license and the ability to operate vehicles safely. Preferred Qualifications: Ford-specific training or certification. Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment and software. Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and longevity. Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues accurately. Communicate effectively with service advisors to provide detailed information on vehicle conditions and repair recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with dealership and industry standards. Skills: The required skills enable the technician to accurately diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicle issues, ensuring customer vehicles are safe and reliable.
