Role Overview

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I , you will perform essential diagnostic laboratory testing and quality control procedures that directly support patient care. This role involves moderate- to high-complexity testing as well as oversight of laboratory systems, equipment, and supplies in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing and quality control in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results

• Review and oversee moderate- to high-complexity laboratory testing

• Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications

• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventories

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards

• Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical teams

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

?? Education - Required

• Associate's degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field

?? Education - Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field

?? Certification & Licensure - Required

• State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

?? Experience - Required

• Clinical laboratory experience

• Minimum of four (4) months of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
