Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Medical Assistant (MA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Plover Clinic - Plover Road team!

The CMA, MA, or LPN is a valued member of the clinic care team who performs a variety of clinical and clerical tasks within the outpatient setting. This role provides direct patient care and support to providers and other care team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities may include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, preparing patients for provider visits, assisting with procedures, and performing additional duties as directed by the clinic team.

Team members may perform tasks they are trained and deemed competent to complete in accordance with clinic policies and scope of practice.

HOURS: Occasional - 0.01 FTE Day Shift - Flexible Schedule (hours and shifts as needed)

Experience/Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from an accredited MA program.
• Two to three years of healthcare and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the America Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
