$140kFull-time
Veterinarian Baltimore, Maryland Up to $140,000 + $35,000 Sign-On Bonus | Structured Mentorship | 24/7 Hospital Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Veterinarian to join a long-established, full-service companion animal hospital in Baltimore, Maryland . This is an especially strong opportunity for a new graduate or early-career veterinarian looking for structured mentorship, exposure to a diverse caseload and the clinical resources of a 24/7 hospital. Experienced veterinarians looking for a collaborative environment with broad medical capabilities are equally encouraged to apply. About the Practice This established small animal hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing comprehensive veterinary services to companion animals throughout the Baltimore area.
The hospital combines general practice with urgent and emergency medicine, creating an unusually diverse clinical environment where veterinarians can develop experience across routine preventative care and more complex medical presentations. Services include: •Wellness and preventative medicine
•Puppy and kitten healthcare
•Vaccinations and parasite prevention
•Internal medicine
•Same-day and urgent care
•Emergency medicine
•Comprehensive dentistry
•Soft tissue surgery
•Diagnostic workups
•Hospitalization and inpatient care
•Intensive patient monitoring
•Pain management
•Senior and geriatric pet medicine
•Chronic disease management
•Avian medicine
•Exotic pet medicine
•Nutritional counseling
•End-of-life and palliative care Interest in avian or exotic medicine is welcomed but is not required, allowing veterinarians to gain exposure to these cases if they choose. Equipment & Clinical Facilities Veterinarians benefit from access to extensive in-house diagnostic and treatment capabilities, helping the clinical team investigate and manage a broad range of cases. Facilities and equipment include : •Digital radiography
•Diagnostic ultrasound
•Endoscopy
•Comprehensive in-house laboratory
•Fully equipped surgical suite
•Intensive Care Unit
•Hospitalization facilities
•Advanced patient monitoring
•On-site pharmacy
•Dental equipment and facilities These capabilities provide excellent opportunities for developing veterinarians to gain practical experience with diagnostics and more involved medical cases while having experienced colleagues available for support. Structured New Graduate Mentorship A major advantage of this opportunity is the hospital's structured approach to supporting new graduates.
Rather than immediately expecting a new veterinarian to manage a full caseload independently, the program is designed to progressively build clinical confidence and decision-making skills. Support includes: •Dedicated on-site primary mentor
•Additional mentorship from experienced veterinarians
•Gradual progression toward independent caseload management
•Hands-on surgical and dental guidance
•Real-time support with challenging cases
•Regular case discussions and clinical rounds
•Exposure to general practice, urgent and emergency medicine
•Opportunities to learn from a diverse clinical caseload
•Peer support and structured professional development
•Continuing education resources
•Flexible start dates The goal is to help newer veterinarians become confident, independent clinicians while ensuring they have experienced support available throughout the process. The Opportunity As a Veterinarian, you'll provide comprehensive medical care while gradually developing your clinical interests and capabilities. Depending on experience and interests, your caseload may include: •Routine wellness examinations
•Preventative healthcare
•Internal medicine
•Sick pet appointments
•Diagnostic workups
•Dentistry
•Soft tissue surgery
•Urgent care
•Emergency presentations
•Hospitalized patient management
•Senior pet medicine
•Chronic disease management
•Avian and exotic cases, if desired You'll work closely with experienced veterinary technicians, assistants and client service professionals who provide strong clinical and operational support.
Because the hospital operates 24/7, scheduling may include rotating weekends and some evening or overnight coverage, depending on the position and roster. Scheduling is structured and predictable to help maintain a sustainable work-life balance. Compensation & Benefits •Salary up to $140,000, depending on experience
•Sign-on bonus up to $35,000
•Production-based compensation opportunities
•No negative accrual for new graduates, calculated quarterly
•Relocation assistance available
•Medical, dental and vision insurance
•Retirement plan
•Generous paid time off
•Holiday pay
•Paid parental leave
•Continuing education allowance
•Dedicated paid CE days
•Veterinary licensing reimbursement
•Professional dues covered
•Professional memberships including VIN, AVMA and Plumb's
•Employee pet care discounts
•Wellness and employee support resources
•Structured mentorship
•Ongoing professional development
•Long-term career progression opportunities Life in Baltimore, Maryland Baltimore offers an appealing combination of East Coast city living, waterfront recreation, distinctive neighborhoods and excellent regional connectivity.
The city's Inner Harbor and surrounding waterfront provide restaurants, attractions and entertainment, while neighborhoods such as Fells Point, Canton, Federal Hill and Mount Vernon each offer their own mix of restaurants, cafés, nightlife and historic architecture.
