Your work will directly contribute to advancing scientific discovery and improving patient outcomes.Lead end-to-end product management including strategy development, roadmap planning, new product introductions, and lifecycle optimization. Partner with R&D, commercial teams, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and launch successful products. Drive revenue growth and profitability through strategic pricing, positioning, and portfolio management. Represent customer needs to ensure products exceed expectations and maintain competitive advantage in the market.This role will have a strong focus on Proteomics -Mass spec reagent portfolio and translating market insights into prioritized development initiatives while partnering closely with RD, commercial, manufacturing, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization.As MS workflows become increasingly complex and customer expectations shift toward integrated, application-focused solutions, you are expected to partner closely with our Mass Spec customers as well as the larger ThermoFisher Scientific proteomic community to offer the maximal customer value.We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who combines strong strategic thinking with a highly collaborative and action-oriented mindset. You are skilled at connecting the dots across complex topics, distilling complexity into clear recommendations, and translating insights into practical decisions and execution.This is an onsite position.Requirements:Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in product management, preferably in life sciences or related industryPreferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field, Mass Spec application insight is desirableProfessional certifications in Product Management beneficialStrong understanding of product lifecycle management and new product development processesDemonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growthExperience conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer researchProven record of successful product launches and commercializationExcellence in financial modeling, forecasting, and P&L managementEffective cross-functional collaboration and influence skills in matrix environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to translate complex technical concepts for various audiencesProficiency with business software and tools (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.)Experience with regulated products/environments preferredAbility to travel up to 25-30%Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $130,000.00–$173,300.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
