Staff Development Coordinator State Role Title: Registered Nurses Hiring Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Pay Band: 5 Agency: Dept of Veterans Services Location: Puller Veterans Center Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Plan, direct, organize, implement, evaluate, and coordinate a comprehensive Staff Education program in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines. Provide knowledge and working knowledge of skilled/long-term care, licensed nurse/CNA duties, and PCC/POC use. Facilitate a staff development program and provide guidance, resources, and training to facility staff. Educate and develop effective nursing teams with excellent planning, organizational, communicative, and interpersonal skills. Implement CPR certification and compliance. Oversee and direct the facility’s CNA certification program. Minimum Qualifications Required: Current State of Virginia RN license. Current BLS Certification. BLS Instructor certification obtainable within 6 months of hire date. 1 year of nursing experience. Preferred: 1-3 years of geriatric skilled nursing/long-term care experience.
