Warehouse Truck Jockey/Forklift Operator– Tuffy’s Pet Foods

Hours: 3pm-11pm M-F

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $24.84/hr
  • Base Pay: $20.96/hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr
  • $1.40/hr for CDL: $1.40/hr
  • 6% Shift Differential for Mid Shift: $1.26
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

The Opportunity

Tuffy’s Pet Food is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Mid Shift , Warehouse Truck Jockey/Forklift Operator position. Requirements, desired qualification, skills and abilities located below.

Essential Duties:

• Be able to operate forklifts, push pulls, do daily forklift inspections
• Drive the jockey truck, move trailers, transfer product, truck inspections
• Maintain a continuous flow of material for warehouse & production lines
• Load & ship finished goods
• Have knowledge of all products in warehouse and ship them in a proper manner
• Do shipping and receiving documents accurately
• Haul garbage to the compactor
• Clean the warehouse, run power sweepers
• Wrap product for UPS shipments
• Do inventory both year end and monthly
• Give breaks to line pullers
• Scale trucks in and out as needed

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, write and understand English
• Must have a CDL License
• Able to operate forklift, push pulls safely and efficiently
• Self-Motivated
• Knowledge of all products stored in warehouse
• General mathematical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Follow company policies
• Up to date health card
