About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45-17:15 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must possess an active license Certifications: ACLS for RNs Must-Have: Experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular skills, urology experience, and neuro experience for call coverage. Description: License must be in hand. On-call information: There are end-of-shift short call shifts until 7 PM and until 9 PM, typically averaging about one per week. Friday and Saturday night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM are also average 1-2 overnights every 6 weeks. The role does not require floating to other units. Will have a patient ratio of 1:1. Typical equipment includes DaVinci Robot, Endovascular Suite, Neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump. The electronic medical record system used is Altera. Typical procedures include orthopedics, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic neuro surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit. Assigned stay-late call during the week and occasional weekend overnights are required. Holidays may be required on a PRN basis.
