About the Position

Job Title: Psych RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of pediatric psychiatric experience, with 6 months of travel experience preferred. License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Strong de-escalation skills; experience with pediatric/adolescent patient population. Description: MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF PEDIATRIC PSYCH EXPERIENCE. Experience in a float pool is required. Patient population includes children and adolescents aged 5 to 21 with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and behavioral crises. Key duties include conducting assessments, triage, medication support, crisis intervention, and patient/family education. Experience in pediatric and/or psychiatric settings is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Epic, is essential. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team focused on family-centered care in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
