Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testswhich include chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Verify results for accuracy, troubleshoot errors, and engage in preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation of samples for testing when required.
• Document all procedures meticulously, provide training for new staff or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to industry regulations and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification actively throughout your employment.
