Sr. Associate Software Engineer-Embedded (C++/Linux/Agile)

Embedded Software Engineer to work on embedded software development utilizing the C++ programming language in a Linux environment on an Agile Development Engineering Team.

Essential Functions:

• Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test
• Investigate and resolve defects
• Research and apply new software concepts
• Work with system engineers to implement and demonstrate new capabilities
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application
• Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree with a minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Degree

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong C++ programming skills including experience with modern debuggers and version control system support
• Strong experience utilizing Object Oriented design methodologies
• Experience with embedded software development
• Experience with multi-threaded software development
• MatLAB experience
• QT experience
• Signal processing experience
• Good working knowledge of the Linux Operating System (Red Hat)
• Excellent communication skills and be able to create and maintain strong working relationships
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
