Sawing and deburring materials such as steel aluminum and plasticManual mill work such as drilling holes tapping holes and chamfering holesAssist machinery department and machinists with various tasks as directedGeneral cleaning around the machines weekly and as needed. Can work autonomously and within a team.Maintain a safe and clean environment. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Must be an active team player to support, accept responsibility and collaborate with the team; have effective skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and building relationships; and use independent judgment, creativity, and initiative. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to follow direction Advanced math and precision measuring skills; Demonstrated problem-solving skills with independent judgement is crucial; Organization skills, i.e. for documents, drawings, blue prints, work area and time management;Excellent verbal and written skills with effective interpersonal communication skills; Successful candidate will have the following personality traits: Driven, conscientious, responsive, detail-oriented and team player;PC computer skills a plus; Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to work in U.S. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
