Heavy Equipment Lube Technician / Driver -  CDL w/ med cert, hazmat, and tanker endorsements required!

VT Trucking, LLC is looking for experienced  Heavy Equipment Lube Drivers  for the Las Vegas area.  This position requires a valid CDL w/ med cert, hazmat, and tanker endorsements. Must also know how to drive a manual transmission!  VT Trucking offers a complete line of benefits including vision insurance, company-paid health & dental, fully vested 401(k) options with company matching, and paid time off (PTO). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Greasing and maintaining mobile / heavy equipment
• Refueling
• Cleaning and replacing parts as necessary (filters, etc.)
• Maintains schedule
• Proper disposal of fuel and oil
• Misc. repairs (not limited to): hydraulic cylinder, undercarriage, bucket, blade, component, etc.
• Electronic diagnostic troubleshooting
• Welding / Fabrication repairs
• Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE a CDL license Class A or Class B with med cert, hazmat & tanker endorsements
• MUST KNOW  drive a manual transmission -  no exceptions!
• 2+ years of relevant experience with heavy equipment
• Familiarity with heavy construction equipment and the ability to use hand tools to replace parts and perform small repairs on various heavy equipment (Komatsu, CAT, John Deere experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations regarding the handling and disposal of fuel/oil as well as mechanical equipment
• OSHA 10 for the Construction Industry
• Must be able to work swing and/or grave shifts
• Have the ability to pass a drug test
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record and be able to provide a DMV driver history report
• Can withstand extreme conditions: excessive heat, wind, cold, continuous noise for extended periods of time
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
