Senior Solutions Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly experienced senior resource to lead the redesign and modernization of a core maintenance module. This role will be responsible for defining the target-state architecture, establishing the foundational design and technical framework, and driving key decisions that ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform growth. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver a robust solution that minimizes future rework and creates a strong foundation for broader strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Define target-state architecture and establish foundational design and technical frameworks
• Drive key decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and long-term platform growth
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver robust solutions
• Evaluate current-state platforms, identify architectural gaps, and define a future-state roadmap
• Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-ready technical solutions

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, or technology leadership roles delivering complex enterprise applications
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable application architectures, with a strong focus on maintainability, extensibility, and long-term platform evolution
• Deep understanding of application management, reference data, maintenance platforms, or similar financial services domains
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives from concept through implementation
• Strong experience in requirements analysis, business process design, and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Expertise in data modeling, system integrations, API-based architectures, and application modernization strategies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence strategic technology direction
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership
• Primary skills in.Net Core and secondary skills in Core Java

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience with financial systems, client onboarding platforms, maintenance modules, or enterprise master/reference data solutions
• Experience in Agile product delivery, roadmap planning, and backlog prioritization
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern DevOps practices
• Familiarity with regulatory, risk, and governance considerations within large financial institutions

Pay range: $ 63.68 - $71.68 per hour
