Printing Plant Worker (Custodial Worker)

Job Title
Performs daily, weekly and other periodic cleaning tasks in offices, classrooms, recreation areas and other assigned areas.
Sweeping, dry mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors, using brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
Responsible for replacing drain covers and screens on drainpipes and sweeps all windowsills.
Safeguarding and proper use of supplies, tools, and equipment; and for daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment used.
Trains new employees, helping them carry out the duties assigned, instructing them in work methods and how to use supplies.
