Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) specialization in a healthcare setting is currently available for a temporary assignment. This position involves supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma and complex procedures. The assignment offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic facility, providing vital surgical services for a diverse patient population.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Rotating shifts, with 10 hours per shift
• Schedule: The work schedule runs from October 19, 2026, through February 7, 2027, with shifts covering Monday through Sunday and no block scheduling for any reason
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications, education, or degrees as needed for OR practice
  • 2 years of operating room experience
  • Experience in large trauma level 1 facilities with 500+ beds
  • Recent EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
  • Circulating and scrub skills checklists must be included in application packet
  • Strong general OR skills required in areas such as orthopedics, urology, oncology, Da Vinci robotic surgery, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neuro, cardiovascular, trauma
• Additional Information:
  • IVS to offer
  • Orientation is bi-weekly on Monday, with the next starting on 11/02
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
  • Complete work history information including bed count, EMR, and facility type is required for submission
  • Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in this area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
