The Flooring/Cabinet Sales professional engages with a diverse customer base including residential homeowners, commercial property managers, property developers, and interior designers. This role focuses on presenting a wide range of flooring and cabinetry products, facilitating sales negotiations, and ensuring a smooth order processing experience. The salesperson will be equipped with in-store POS systems to support transactions and deliver excellent customer service throughout the buying journey.
Responsibilities
- Present hardwood, laminate, vinyl flooring, custom and pre-fabricated cabinets, tile, and carpet products to customers
- Negotiate sales terms to meet customer needs and company goals
- Process orders accurately using in-store POS systems
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Customer Relationship Management skills
- Proficiency in sales techniques tailored to flooring and cabinetry products
- Strong product knowledge of flooring and cabinet materials
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Time management and attention to detail
