Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Coconut Creek, FL Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $2,572 per week • Shift: Days – 5 days • Contract Duration: 13 Weeks • Start Date: ASAP About the Position Prime Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN for a 13‑week contract at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. The role will involve full perioperative nursing responsibilities on the CVOR team, including monitoring patients on complex cardiac equipment and collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers. Responsibilities Participate in all perioperative nursing tasks: observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients. Scrub and assist in all cardiac surgical service lines. Operate or support advanced cardiac equipment: Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser (lead extraction), EVH, rapid transfuser. Maintain accurate documentation and charting in Meditech. Manage patient care across diverse surgical specialties, excluding CVOR (robotics, orthopedics, spine, GYN). Handle call responsibilities as scheduled and participate in on‑call duties per staffing. Qualifications Registered Nurse with current BLS and ACLS certification. Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute operating room setting. Proficiency in cardiac surgical procedures and support of complex cardiac equipment. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities. Excellent bedside manner and effective communication skills. Benefits & Considerations Competitive weekly pay of $2,572.
