Rock Steady is seeking an experienced Lead Pastry Chef to oversee our morning pastry operations. You will bake and plate high-quality desserts while training and mentoring new team members. This role requires a strong leader who ensures every dish meets our strict recipe and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and present menu items following exact recipe specifications  
• Train new pastry chefs on kitchen processes.
• Hold staff accountable to Rock Steady Kitchen Standards.
• Delegate daily kitchen tasks effectively to the team
• Execute routine kitchen tasks, supporting the culinary team with prep work and sanitation
• Schedule Requirements
• Full availability is required.
• Primary shift is the Morning Shift.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional pastry experience.
• Demonstrated experience training kitchen staff.
• Strong communication and delegation skills.
• English proficiency is required; Spanish fluency is preferred.
