Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Multimodality lab covering Cath Lab, vascular, IR, EP, and Neuro procedures with 3 labs
• Uses Cerner EHR and Merge hemodynamic monitoring system
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4x10-hour shifts from 06:30-17:00
• Requires flexibility with 7-10 days of call per month

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures
• Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed
• Communicate patient condition to physician before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare, implement, and document plan of care
• Set up and manage equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates but at a reduced rate that varies by state
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
