Responsibilities Assures customers are receiving world class customer service and attention in the fitting rooms. Answers all incoming calls in a friendly, professional and pleasant disposition. Is knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate associates or areas for further assistance. Assists in general office duties that include mail service, sorting and opening mail to deliver to appropriate individuals/departments, and assists other office positions as needed. Creates daily pocket schedules and makes signs for all shops. Assists in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed. Develops product knowledge and partners with sales associates to help achieve daily selling goals. Focuses on fashion trends. Checks customers in and out of rooms while monitoring the amount of merchandise the customer has in the fitting room. Prepares merchandise (buttons, zips, etc.) to return to the selling floor. Is knowledgeable to answer questions regarding location, price and use of merchandise. Contributes to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth. Demonstrates strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi‑task and problem‑solving skills. Is professional in appearance and attitude, contributes to a positive team atmosphere and treats others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Is able to complete basic mathematical equations. Promotes the Scheels Visa Rewards card and can clearly explain all benefits. Education & Experience The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED); 1‑3 months of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 30 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Scheels cares about the health and safety of our associates. Associates are expected to follow all safety procedures and perform their job duties in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury. Wage Minimum Starting wage is $***** /Hour. Schedule Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be available for a minimum of two weekends a month. Average hours per week is 20 hours.
